Back in May of this year I published the 101st “101 Basses” article. This was the completion of two years of hanging out in music stores and otherwise being totally obsessed with electric bass guitars. Since that time I haven’t published any new articles, but needless to say, I still spend a great deal of time every day playing bass, going to music stores and surfing the Internet.
Now that the summer is over it’s time to get back to work. For me personally this means a lot more than just playing basses. It means I have to get back to my day job. This will help support my bassaholism, but it will also ensure that I won’t been seen wandering the streets as a homeless bass player. I don’t want to have to figure out how many basses I can keep in a shopping cart while I’m sleeping under a freeway overpass.
But it also means getting back to what I love to do. (Researching stuff about basses of course!) So please “stay tuned” for upcoming articles. I’m working to make new articles more detailed with lots more information and more reference material and more photos. Lots more players and builders. Lots more of everything bass.
You’re gonna love it.
